Dual-Feedstock Distillery Optimization

The Challenge

An existing grain-based distillery planned to shift from a single feedstock (broken rice) to a dual-feedstock model (maize and rice) due to market volatility. Vendor proposals for the capacity upgrade suggested massive capital expenditure on new distillation columns.

The Engineering

Rise Energy conducted an independent mass balance and thermodynamic audit of the existing setup. We identified that the bottleneck was not the column capacity, but inadequate heat transfer areas in the existing reboilers and inefficient liquefaction dosing.

The Outcome

By rejecting the heavily biased vendor proposal and re-engineering the existing heat exchanger network, we successfully transitioned the plant to a dual-feedstock capability while slashing the projected CapEx by 40% and improving overall thermal efficiency.

Flat Bottom Silo & Unloading System Commissioning

The Challenge

A massive grain storage facility required the execution and commissioning of a high-capacity flat bottom silo network, complete with continuous discharge requirements. Previous installations had suffered from severe mechanical bridging and material flow bottlenecks.

The Engineering

Operating strictly from Paper to Field™, our Gurgaon-based engineering team took over the EPC management. We managed the vendor-neutral procurement of heavy-duty drum scalpers, bucket elevators, and tank bin dischargers. On-site, our engineers monitored the exact geometric tolerances of the mechanical erection.

The Outcome

The system was commissioned with a precision-integrated sweep auger and bin discharger setup, resulting in a continuous, zero-blockage flow rate. The entire project was handed over with an immutable structural and mechanical data log for the O&M team.
